Dr. Vaughn’s motivation to go into health care was something he learned about as a young kid. “I have felt a calling to take care of people since I was a child and I am blessed by God to do so as a physician,” said Dr. Vaughn.
Dr. Vaughn completed his residency at the University of Oklahoma at Tulsa (OU-Tulsa) in internal medicine and pediatrics. He enjoys working with people of all ages. “There is a great variety of people in internal medicine and pediatrics,” he said. “I enjoy treating the newborn child in one room and the elderly gentleman in the next.”
When it comes to your health, Dr. Vaughn says, “There is no easy or quick solution to good health. It is an everyday choice to eat well, be active, take medications and keep up with medical screenings.”
When Dr. Vaughn is not working at the clinic, he enjoys spending time with his family and working outside with livestock and fruit. A little hidden fun fact about Dr. Vaughn is that he raises hairless sheep, heritage breed cattle and grafts heirloom fruit trees.
