Our team of highly experienced labor and delivery specialists welcome nearly 1,500 babies to the world each year. We are proud to be able to offer expectant mothers support before, during, and after delivery.
Our Women’s Health Center is a warm and inviting space for you and your loved ones. We offer private labor and delivery suites to comfortably accommodate your growing family and visitors, and our postpartum rooms offer small refrigerators to store any food and drinks. Some of our rooms even have laboring tubs.
Our nursery offers a Level II neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) and 24/7 support from a neonatology nurse practitioner who can provide compassionate care to babies that need extra medical support and round-the-clock care. Labor and delivery services
Our labor and delivery unit at Hillcrest South provides compassionate services for expectant mothers and their babies. We aim to treat pregnant mothers throughout the entirety of their labor, delivery, and recovery journey. To aid in the process, our facility offers a number of amenities and resources.
Our labor and delivery specialists promote important bonding practices after birth such as skin-to-skin contact, golden hour bonding, delayed bathing, delayed cord clamping, and couplet care. We also provide comprehensive NICU services and special care for mothers with a high-risk pregnancy.

Level II NICU
A Level II NICU, also known as a Special Care Nursery, is equipped to care for infants born at 32 weeks of gestation or later. Our neonatologists offer services like oxygen therapy, feeding support, and temperature regulation, with a focus on providing care to newborns who are recovering from mild to moderate complications. Our goal is to help infants transition from intensive care to newborn care before you go home.

Breast health and mammography services
Mammography is an X-ray exam of the breasts used to screen for or diagnose breast cancer. Hillcrest South offers state-of-the-art digital imaging technology for mammograms. With digital technology, radiologists can zoom in on particular areas or change brightness or contrast for even greater visibility, and results can be read immediately. It offers numerous benefits to women, including:
- Improved accuracy of screening exams, especially for women with dense breast tissue.
