Patient Conditions

Hillcrest HealthCare System public relations may offer media patient condition reports. To obtain a condition report on a specific patient, media may call 918-605-3573. In order for public relations staff to release a condition report, the media representative making the request must be able to provide the patient’s first and last name.

Definitions of patient condition reports are found below:

  • Good – Vital signs are stable and within normal limits. The patient is conscious and comfortable. Indicators are excellent.
  • Fair – Vital signs are stable and within normal limits. The patient is conscious but may be uncomfortable. Indicators are favorable.
  • Serious – Vital signs are unstable and not within normal limits. The patient may be unconscious. Indicators are questionable.
  • Critical – Vital signs are unstable and not within normal limits. The patient may be unconscious. Indicators are unfavorable.
  • Deceased – One-word statement only after next-of-kin has been notified.
