Richard Gordon, M.D., is board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics. Parent comments about him include:

"Dr. Gordon is awesome! I have recommended him to all my soon-to-be mothers and friends looking for a new pediatrician. I've never had a bad experience with this doctor!"

"My son has kidney disease, urethral dysfunction, seizures, brain tumor, ADHD and learning disabilities. There have been multiple hospitalizations and procedures with multiple specialists and hospitals. I wish we had found Dr. Gordon earlier. A pediatrician is vital as the primary advocate for a minor under the care of multiple specialists. Dr. Gordon is exceptional, knowledgeable, caring and responsive. We feel fortunate our son is his patient."

"Dr. Gordon is knowledgeable, efficient and personable. He engages with my child in a positive and caring way and informs me in a manner that is helpful. It makes me confident that my child is receiving good care."

"Is there anything better than the best? If so, Dr. Gordon is that. He has been my provider my whole life and now my children see him, too. He is always professional and highly informed. We love him and could not imagine a life without him and his team."

“Dr. Gordon is a wonderful physician and very kind person. He is never in a rush and gives you all the time you need to have your questions answered. I highly recommend him for all of your pediatric needs.

"I was very nervous to take my son to a pediatrician for a lot of reasons, but my anxiety went away after his first appointment with Dr. Gordon. He was very kind and reassuring about any issues I brought up. I recommend him to anyone in search of a pediatrician!"

Dr. Gordon enjoys providing medical care for children of all ages from birth through college. Having practiced pediatrics in Tulsa since 1981, he also enjoys caring for “second generation” patients—the children of parents who are former patients of his. While treating diseases of children and helping prevent those diseases is an important part of any pediatric practice, one of the aspects of his practice that Dr. Gordon finds most satisfying is helping parents enjoy their children and also helping them realize that they are most often doing a much better job at parenting than they think they are.

Dr. Gordon graduated from the University of Oklahoma in 1977 and he completed his internship at St. Francis Hospital in Wichita, Kansas in 1978. He completed his residency program at the University of Oklahoma in Tulsa in 1981.

Dr. Gordon welcomes new patients. Most insurance plans are accepted. His office is located at:

Dr. Gordon has seen my boys for the last several years, and they are 18, 16, and 13 now. He genuinely cares about his patients and it’s obvious with every visit. I highly recommend him as a pediatrician!

I have 2 kids. The oldest is now 19 youngest 16. Dr. Gordon has over seen both of their care from the start. If you would like a doc that actually hears you. He's the doc for you. His nurse Monica is an 😇!

Dr. Gordan is the absolute best. He was my doctor and now he sees my kids. The office staff could use some work on answering the phones. I’m always stuck on hold without anyone ever answering me for a long time. My 5 stars are only for Dr. Gordan and his nurse Monica.
