Queen Erue, APRN-CNP

Queen Erue, APRN-CNP, practices family medicine. She has worked in health care since 2005. She chose a career in medicine because she was motivated to make a difference in the life of each individual patient.

Ms. Erue’s goal is to provide high-quality care and build long-term relationships. “I administer individualized, family-centered care to try to get you to an optimum state of health,” she said. “I utilize the technology and interventions modern medicine offers to provide a higher quality of life as much as possible.”

Ms. Erue chose to focus on family medicine because it allows her to help patients manage health issues before they become a bigger problem. “Prevention is said to be better than a cure,” she said. “Family medicine grants me the ability to help you and encourage you to engage in preventive medicine for acute and pre-existing chronic diseases.”

When teaching people how to get and stay healthy, Ms. Erue encourages patients to seek the advice of a health care professional. “Proper nutrition and diet are excellent defenses against diseases,” she said. “Follow your providers’ instruction on exercise, weight loss, avoiding a sedentary lifestyle and wearing seat belts to avoid injury. Also, follow up on your appointments.”

Ms. Erue received a Bachelor of Science degree in nursing from Langston University in Langston, Oklahoma in 2016. She earned a Master of Science degree in nursing from Maryville University of St. Louis in 2019. Ms. Erue is a member of The American Nurses Association, The Association of Oklahoma Nurse Practitioners and The American Association of Nurse Practitioners. Prior to joining Utica Park Clinic, Ms. Erue worked at Hillcrest Medical Center as a registered nurse.
