Molly Lewis, APRN-CNP
Molly Lewis, APRN-CNP, practices internal medicine. She chose a career in medicine to help impact the poor quality of life seen in friends and family during her upbringing. “I grew up in a rural area of the Appalachian Mountains where it is common to see unhealthy lifestyle choices and poor health as a consequence,” she said. “I watched many suffer from illnesses that - with adequate access to health care and improved health education - could have been better managed. I knew I wanted to make an impact and empower them to take charge of their health.”
Ms. Lewis takes a fluid approach to treating patients. “My care philosophy is ever-changing alongside my patients’ needs, and that is part of the beauty of being a health care provider,” she said. “I treat my patients like old friends and believe that developing trusting, long-term relationships allows me to personalize their care to their specific needs.” Patient comments about her include:
"I made an appointment with Ms. Lewis and was hesitant about seeing a new provider. I was pleasantly surprised at her genuine interest in getting to know me and allowing me to share my health records. Not once did I feel rushed or uncomfortable. I am so very happy with Ms. Lewis and her nurse. What a load off my mind. I highly recommend anyone looking for a provider to choose Ms. Lewis!"
"Ms. Lewis is the best! Her office is always very helpful. She is very kind and listens to all my concerns and provides exactly what I need."
"My experience with Ms. Lewis was nothing short of Incredible! She made me feel comfortable and was very informative knowledgeable. Seems like she has been my provider for years!"
"I have been so happy with Ms. Lewis. She addresses all of my medical needs and takes her time with me. I would choose her any day. There whole office is outstanding!"
When teaching patients how to get and stay healthy, Ms. Lewis can personally relate. “Not only did I witness the long-term impacts that unhealthy lifestyle choices lead to, but I also struggled with my own poor eating decisions and weight. I understand how difficult it is to make the necessary changes and maintain them,” she said. “I approach healthy lifestyle choices with small steps that impact your life over time, not overnight. We are in it together and I will always be a cheerleader for you!”
Ms. Lewis received an Associate of Applied Science degree in nursing from Mayland Community College in North Carolina in 2014. She completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing at Milligan College in Milligan, Tennessee in 2017. She earned a Master of Science degree in nursing from Frontier Nursing University in Hyden, Kentucky in 2020. Before joining Utica Park Clinic, Ms. Lewis worked as a cardiovascular intensive care unit nurse at Johnson City Medical Center in Johnson City, Tennessee. She is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and the Association of Oklahoma Nurse Practitioners.
When she is away from the office, Ms. Lewis enjoys exploring and hiking with her significant other and their two rescue dogs, running along the Arkansas River when it is cool and cooking.
Ms. Lewis welcomes new patients and accepts most insurance plans. Her office is located on the campus of Hillcrest Hospital South at:

I have been wanting to be a patient of Dr. Morrel’s for a long time and jumped at the chance of seeing her PA, Molly Lewis. If I didn’t know any better, I would think Molly is a doctor…and the best I’ve ever had! Molly took time to truly listen to my issues and thoroughly examine me. She works hard to find the best route to take and adjusts when needed. I appreciate how busy medical professionals are and do not expect quick responses and short wait times. That being said, I have been very impressed with how quick she is to respond to my questions and concerns when I leave messages on the patient portal. Molly is kind, compassionate, open, and understanding! You will not be disappointed!!!! She is PRECIOUS!!!!

I absolutely love Dr. Lewis. She took her time and asked a lot of questions. She was very thorough and thoughtful. She even followed up with me after my visit which I’ve never had from any of my doctors before.

I went for my first visit with Dr. Molly Lewis and was very pleased from the time I walked in to the office. I am very hard of hearing and the staff had no problem if I asked them to repeat what they had said or speaking up so I could hear them. Dr. Lewis made sure I understood everything in detail, from my medications to next office visit and listened to every concern I had also. I was not hurried along or made to feel I was taking to much of her time. Being almost deaf you can tell when someone is getting annoyed for having to repeat or speak up, and that happens often. But I sensed none of that from the staff or Dr. Very Pleased with my visit.
