Melanie Ketchandji, M.D., is trained in medical and surgical urology services for women and men with simple or complex urologic conditions such as an overactive bladder, incontinence (leaky bladder), prolapse (dropped bladder or other pelvic organs), enlarged prostate, kidney stones, bladder infections, kidney/bladder/prostate cancer, bladder pain, neurogenic bladder (as may occur with multiple sclerosis), and any other urological issues.

Dr. Ketchandji earned her medical degree at the University of Texas Medical Branch-Galveston in 2009. She completed her internship in general surgery and residency in urological surgery at the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston and M.D. Anderson Cancer Center in 2011 and 2015 respectively. She is a member of the American Urologic Association and the Society of Women in Urology.
Dr. Ketchandji’s personal interests include traveling, running and spending time with family.

Dr.Ketchandji is amazing. I got into see her via referral from my gynecology dr. and she had my appt set in no time. We discussed what needed to be done and within about a week and a half my surgery was scheduled. She is very sweet and explains what she is going to do and asks if you have any questions and doesnt try and rush you out of her office. Love how great she is and how comfortable it was to go through something very personal. My surgery went great and I recommend her to anyone needing her specialty. Thank you so much Dr. Ketchandji.

Dr. Ketchandji is amazing. She was quick to get me in as a new patient from an ER visit referral. I got all my testing done right off the bat and surgery was scheduled promptly. She coordinated with my GYN and everything went so smoothly. My health issues were not medically emergent but to me it was important and she definitely made sure I was taken care of as soon as possible. As a 32yo female dealing with what I did, I would pick Dr Ketchandji over and over again HANDS DOWN. I never felt misinformed, never confused and never left with anything not addressed. I was treated for my prolapses and have had an amazing outcome! I feel like I am back to normal and it is such a relief. The outcome far surpassed what I was expecting. She is very pleasant, professional yet personable and welcoming. All around very pleased with my experience and would HIGHLY reccomend her to any woman needing Urology!
