Laurie Duckett, D.O.
Laurie Duckett, D.O., is board certified and fellowship trained in plastic and reconstructive surgery. “It is an honor to provide care for others,” she says. “I like to form a partnership with my patients and treat not just their plastic surgery needs but their emotional and psychological needs as well. I’ve had the pleasure of sharing a long-term relationship with many of them."
"Dr. Duckett is amazing. Very knowledgeable and eased my fear about surgery. A truly great doctor."
"Dr. Duckett has been my wound care doctor since 2004. I was her patient when she was at OSU Med Center. For a few months I was seeing a doctor that came to Henryetta but did not feel I was getting the level of care I had experienced with Dr. Duckett. I decided to come back to her because she is the best!"
"A truly great experience, nothing bad to say. Dr. Duckett was very professional and explained everything to me in a language that was easy to understand."
Dr. Duckett was influenced by a variety of sources to consider a medical career. “My father was a plastic surgeon and my mother was a nurse,” she shares. “I originally pursued nursing as a career but was convinced by a physician’s assistant that worked with my father to attend medical school. I had the wonderful experience of being a scrub tech for my father while obtaining my undergraduate degree. I saw, firsthand, the positive impact that reconstructive surgery can have on a patient’s life and it made a lasting impression on me.”
Dr. Duckett has been practicing in Tulsa since 1997. While she is particularly skilled in the areas of chronic and acute wound care, breast reconstruction and amputation, she welcomes the opportunity to visit with you about any plastic and reconstructive surgery questions.
