James Ross, M.D.

James Ross, M.D., practices palliative care for hospitalized patients at Hillcrest Medical Center. He has been a healthcare professional in the Tulsa area since 2000. Prior to joining Utica Park Clinic, he held various positions at Warren Clinic, Broken Arrow Medical Group, Family Medical Care of Tulsa, Sojourn Care Hospice, Hillcrest Hospital South, Jane Phillips Hospital in Nowata and others. He speaks fluent Spanish.

Dr. Ross earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in biology at Saint Mary’s University in San Antonio, TX in 1995. He completed his medical degree at the Texas Tech University School of Medicine in Lubbock, TX in 1999. He completed his residency through the In His Image program in Tulsa in 2002. He is board certified in family medicine and hospice & palliative medicine.

Dr. Ross’ personal interests include, home schooling, music ministries, helping the underserved, practicing international/humanitarian medicine, assisting in disaster relief, athletics, studio recording and spending time with his wife & six children.
