Grace Kennedy, D.O.

Grace Kennedy, D.O., is board certified in pulmonary disease, critical care and internal medicine. She has practiced since 1995. “Helping a patient breathe helps give them their independence back,” she explains. “When you can’t breathe well, you aren’t able to participate in many of the activities that make your life more enjoyable.”

Dr. Kennedy gives each patient the time they need to explain their unique situation and concerns. “It’s important to me that my patients feel heard and that they get some relief and comfort from better breathing,” she says.

While she is particularly skilled in the areas of asthma, pulmonary hypertension, COPD and interstitial lung disease, Dr. Kennedy welcomes the opportunity to help you with any pulmonary concerns. “It’s never too late to get your health back,” she explains. “Whether it is smoking cessation, pulmonary rehabilitation, compliance with BIPAP or medications, you can improve your health.”

Prior to joining Utica Park Clinic, Dr. Kennedy cared for patients at Parkland Hospital in Dallas, Texas; Pulmonary Medicine Associates in Tulsa; Saint Francis Hospital in Tulsa and AAIC Asthma Allergy Immunology/MedRite in Tulsa.

Dr. Kennedy graduated from the University of Oklahoma in Norman, Oklahoma in 1984 with a Bachelor of Science degree in zoology. She earned her Doctor of Osteopathy degree in 1988 from the Oklahoma State University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Tulsa. She completed her rotating internship at Grandview Hospital in Dayton, Ohio in 1989 and completed her internal medicine residency at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center in Tulsa in 1992. She completed a pulmonary and critical care medicine fellowship from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center Parkland Hospital in Dallas, Texas in 1995.

Dr. Kennedy is a member of the American College of Chest Physicians, American Thoracic Society, American Medical Association, Oklahoma State Medical Association, Oklahoma Osteopathic Association and American College of Physicians.

Dr. Kennedy welcomes new patients and accepts most insurance plans. She has two office locations:
