Christopher Treat, D.O., is an Oklahoma native and a fellowship-trained orthopedic physician. He treats pediatric and adult patients. Dr. Treat practices general orthopedic surgery and has a subspecialty interest in hand and upper extremity care. He specializes in the evaluation and treatment of the hand, wrist, forearm, elbow, and shoulder, and microvascular reconstruction. Conditions he treats include trauma, arthritis, sports injuries, carpal tunnel syndrome, fractures and cysts, as well as peripheral nerve and vascular disorders. Having the opportunity to help others overcome their orthopedic issues is a dream come true.” Dr. Treat earned a Bachelor of Science degree in biology at the University of Central Oklahoma in Edmond, Oklahoma in 2007. He received a medical degree at the Oklahoma State University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Tulsa in 2011. He completed an orthopedic surgery residency at Largo Medical Center in Largo, Florida in 2017. He completed a shoulder and elbow fellowship at the Cleveland Shoulder Institute in Beachwood, Ohio in 2018. He completed a hand and upper extremity fellowship at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania in 2019. Dr. Treat’s personal interests include music, sports, fishing and spending time with his family. Dr. Treat welcomes new patients and accepts most insurance plans.
