Ashley Hilliker, PA-C, has been practicing in the health care industry since 2004. She specializes in orthopedics. “This specialty requires strength, skill, determination and planning - many of the same traits seen in athletes,” she said. “As an athlete, it is no surprise that I was attracted to this field of medicine. It is rewarding to help patients overcome their injuries and watch them return to their normal, daily activities.”
Ms. Hilliker’s experience in health care started when she took a job after high school in the radiology department of her hometown hospital. “I enjoyed the fast-paced work environment, sense of teamwork with my colleagues and interactions with my patients,” she said. “It wasn’t long before I developed a passion for medicine.”
When caring for people, Ms. Hilliker emphasizes the importance of a customized plan. “My philosophy is to do what is right for you as an individual by providing you and your family members with appropriate education regarding your illnesses/injuries and discussing treatment options that fit your lifestyle,” she said. “I will promote self-care and encourage you to be involved in the decision-making process of your own health.”
Prior to joining Utica Park Clinic, Ms. Hilliker worked at Steele Memorial Clinic in Salmon, Idaho. Ms. Hilliker received a Bachelor of Science degree in health sciences from Kaplan University in 2014. She earned a Master of Science degree in physician assistant studies from Pacific University in 2016.
When she is away from the office, Ms. Hilliker enjoys being outdoors, running, mountain biking, skiing, hunting, fishing and camping.
Ms. Hilliker welcomes new patients and accepts most insurance plans. She has two office locations in Tulsa.
