Dr. Karnama is a specialist in interventional cardiology, including cardiac catheterization, coronary intervention, nuclear cardiology, echocardiography (TEE/TTE), cardioversion, peripheral angiography, peripheral intervention, carotid angiography, intravascular ultrasound, atherectomy, and PTCA/stenting for acute myocardial infarction. He is the director of the cardiology department at Hillcrest Hospital Claremore.

Dr Karnama discovered my dad’s narrowing aorta heart valve, and told us exact symptoms to look for when it would be necessary to replace the valve. We loved that he did not rush this procedure until symptoms proved it was necessary. Dr Karnama always takes time and great care at our appts. His PA and staff are excellent too. We love having excellent physicians in a relatively small town.
