Andrea Carpenter, APRN-CNP
Andrea Carpenter, APRN-CNP, has worked in health care since 2011. She is a family medicine and gynecology provider with specific interests in preventive care and health maintenance. “I encourage my patients to make healthy choices and inform them about how their decisions regarding prevention and adherence affect their overall health and longevity,” she said.
She chose to focus on these areas because they allows her to treat a wide range of people. “My career in medicine has always been diverse among many patient populations,” she said. “I enjoy treating people of all ages.”
Ms. Carpenter meets patients’ needs by treating them wherever they are in their health journey. “Each person has a different level of health care knowledge and I talk with them about their goals and tailor a plan that will keep them healthy and thriving,” she said.
Before joining Utica Park Clinic, Ms. Carpenter worked at Tulsa Spine & Specialty Hospital. She received an Associate of Science degree in nursing from Tulsa Community College in 2011. She completed a bridge RN-MSN program and earned a Master of Science degree in nursing from Simmons University in Boston, Massachusetts, in 2019. She is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and the Association of Oklahoma Nurse Practitioners.
When she is away from the office, Ms. Carpenter enjoys gardening, scrapbooking and boating on her pontoon with her family.
Ms. Carpenter welcomes new patients and accepts most insurance plans. She has two clinic locations:

If you need a good Gynecologist, I HIGHLY recommend Andrea! She is so down to earth, and so kind! She really cares about her patients & she listens to even the smallest of concerns. She takes pride in her work, and I enjoy being one of her patients! Her MA, Sydney, is also WONDERFUL! She is full of life & just a joy to be around as well. Now I did have a phone call from someone, they did not state their name & was very monotoned & you could tell just did not care about her job. Whoever she was, she’s the only one I’ve had an issue with. Hopefully just a bad day she can get over! But Andrea & her team are amazing!!! Love them so much!

I have been seeing Dr. Lori Hyden (in this office) for 10 years now. She was there during the birth of both of my children, and I have always felt comfortable with her. She is booked out and I needed a women’s wellness exam done in order to get my birth control shot, so I HAD to have it done prior to the time frame Dr. Hyden would have been able to schedule me for it. The office offered an appointment with Dr. Carpenter, I of course took it, but was nervous, as again, I’ve had Dr. Hyden handle all of my female needs for the last 10 years, and only her (since I was 18!). But when I showed up, Dr. Carpenter immediately put my mind at ease. She was extremely kind, professional, and so very informative. She voiced her concerns about the length of time I’ve been on the depo shot (I’ve heard it many times, rightfully so) but then provided a LOT of options and information for me about a few of them that I had reservations about and sent me home with pamphlets. I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience in an already somewhat uncomfortable appointment, with an unfamiliar face. I am happy to know I can comfortably count on Dr. Carpenter if I am ever unable to see Dr. Hyden for my OBGYN needs. Thank you!
