Joshua Redmond, D.O.

Joshua Redmond, D.O., has worked in the health care industry since 2009 and has practiced family medicine in northeast Oklahoma since 2017. “In addition to treating my patients, I educate and empower them to live the best and healthiest lives they can,” he said.

To maximize your health and wellness, Dr. Redmond encourages you to welcome lifestyle modifications. “Wellness is achieved by slowly changing your way of thinking and embracing healthy eating and activities,” he said. He added that a well-rounded, healthy lifestyle goes beyond physical characteristics. “You’re not going to be healthy and well if you don’t take care of yourself mentally and spiritually.”

Dr. Redmond pursued a career as a family medicine physician because he wanted to be a clinician. “In medical school rotations,” he said, “when I was in the family medicine clinic, I felt like a puzzle piece that fit perfectly. I got to experience every specialty and really focus on trying to prevent people from ending up in the hospital.”

While he is particularly skilled in the areas of preventive care, pediatrics, hypertension (high blood pressure), diabetes, endocrinology (hormones) and geriatrics, he welcomes the opportunity to help you with any family medicine concerns.

Dr. Redmond earned a Bachelor of Science degree in biology at East Central University in Ada, Oklahoma in 2009. He received a Master’s degree in biomedical science from the Oklahoma State University Center of Health Sciences in Tulsa in 2017. He obtained his medical degree at the Oklahoma State University College of Medicine in Tulsa in 2017. He completed his residency at Oklahoma State University Medical Center in Tulsa in 2020.

Dr. Redmond’s personal interests include watching movies and Netflix programs, running, golfing, reading and playing with his kids.
