About Bradley Edgington, D.O.
Brad Edgington, D.O., is board-certified in pulmonary and critical care medicine and practices at Utica Park Clinic in Claremore, Hillcrest Claremore and Bailey Medical Center. His professional areas of interest include lung disease, COPD and pulmonary rehabilitation.
Dr. Edgington’s journey into medicine first began when he was young taking science classes. His fascination eventually led him to his career as a doctor. As he completed medical school and clinical rotations, he really took an interest in pulmonology and decided to specialize in it. He said, “I liked the variety of pulmonary diseases, along with the challenge of taking care of critically ill patients.”
Dr. Edgington understands the value of connecting with his patients to create a more welcoming environment. He does so by asking about hobbies or work to find common ground and make it a comfortable care experience for the patient and their support system.
When asked about a piece of advice he likes to remind everyone, he said, “Stop smoking and stay in the best shape you can.”
When Dr. Edgington isn’t at work, he enjoys cooking and watching his kids compete in their sports.
